Weyra is a modern take on this ancient craft. We want to invite others to experience the warmth, connection, and hospitality of Ethiopia at its heart.

We make naturally fermented, small-batch tej and birz rooted in Ethiopian tradition, while creating something that can be shared at tables far beyond our own community. Whether it’s a wedding, a birthday, a new baby, an accomplishment, or simply having the people you love in one room, we believe the moments that matter deserve to be shared.
